About The Dog is opening at Wapping Wharf in March.

A new luxury dog grooming salon, About The Dog, is the latest business to announce they will be opening this month at Wapping Wharf.

Founded by lifelong dog lover Holly Arnold, About The Dog began three years ago with a mission to create a high end grooming experience and provide a haven where owners could trust their pets were receiving the very best care.

Since opening their first salon in December 2021, demand has been high, leading to the launch of six locations across Bristol and Gloucestershire. About The Dog is now expanding to Bristol’s biggest independent community, Wapping Wharf, offering expert grooming for all breeds and sizes, using naturally derived products, alongside canine dental hygiene services such as manual and ultrasonic teeth cleaning. Their boutique will stock healthy treats, home grooming essentials, and a selection of premium toys and accessories.

Speaking about the decision to open at Wapping Wharf, founder Holly said:"Having taken my own dogs for walks around the harbourside many times, I realised it’s a great place for dog lovers. With so many dog-friendly spots but no grooming salons in the area, Wapping Wharf felt like the perfect fit for our next location. The independent business community in Cargo aligns so well with our brand, and we can’t wait to be part of it!"

About The Dog will be opening its doors on the 8th March 2025 at Unit 5, Cargo, Wapping Wharf, Bristol. They’ll be giving out free dog ice creams and treats! Keep an eye out for launch offers and special treats for four-legged visitors.
