VeBurger will be bringing delicious plant based burgers to Cargo 2 with their first ever permanent location.
A brand new vegan burger joint will soon be opening at Wapping Wharf, promising to bring plant powered, mouth-watering, affordable and sustainable classic burgers and sides to Bristol’s independent harbourside quarter.
VeBurger was founded in early 2022 by young couple Dillona and Cindy, with a vision of providing plant based alternative food which doesn’t compromise on taste and is better for animals and the planet. After seeing a great success on delivery services, the duo are now opening their first permanent location at Cargo 2 in Wapping Wharf.
VeBurger will be offering a variety of meal deals, combo boxes and bundles so customers can try a bit of everything. With a focus on affordability and sustainability, burgers will start at just £2.99 for a classic Hamburger, which can be paired with a wide range of sides such as deep fried pickles or loaded fries. They’ll also be serving up their signature vegan “chicken”, better known as the “Rooster range”, which is made using a secret in-house recipe, as well as a selection of vegan desserts.
Speaking about their plans for the new opening, co-founder Dillona said:
“We struggled to find good, tasty plant based alternatives which were affordable; something which has become even more relevant during this financial crisis. As such, the idea came to us to try and deliver exactly that in Bristol; a vegan restaurant that is tasty, sustainable and affordable.
“We love the vibrant atmosphere in the Wapping Wharf community. We think that Wapping Wharf is the perfect place for a start up such as ourselves and we know that our customers will love the scenery and feeling the community provides you with.
“We’re very excited to join and be part of the growing WW community. We’re excited to meet our neighbours and offer the WW regulars a great plant-based dining option.”
VeBurger will be opening at Cargo 2 on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May, and will be offering a free burger to their first 100 customers. They’ll be open 11:45am – 10:00pm, seven days a week.
